Export database to CSV files

This function allows you to download all information contained in your Aerolog Cloud database to your local machine.

The information is downloaded as several CSV (Comma Separated Value) files. Each file covers a specific area of the system (Directory, Financial transactions, flight log, membership, etc.).    

You can use these CSV files to export your data to specialized data analysis software, to keep as a backup or even to export to another management software.

They contain all information that belongs to your club, without exception.

Each file contains a header which identifies all columns in that file.

All referential associations are already resolved so that each record contains the information known by the user rather than application specific internal key values. 

You can execute this function whenever you wish. Keep in mind that, depending on the size of your files and the characteristics of your Internet connection, the download process can take some minutes.  

Prior to downloading, you can visualize the number of records that will be written to each file by using the “Preview number of records” button.

The files are downloaded automatically to your download default folder. This is defined in your browser settings.

To avoid incompatibility with information from your database that may contain commas, the separator used by Aerolog Cloud for all CSV files is the ‘;’ (semicolon).
