Generate Export File

Financial transactions can be exported into a CSV file and downloaded to your local computer/device. You can use this file to export financial transactions to your accounting application.

Aerolog Cloud will write to the CSV file the financial transactions created during the period specified and according to one of the options presented in the generation mode, as follows:

Full
All records created during the period will be written to the CSV export file.

Incremental
Only the records created during the period and that have not yet been exported. This option should be used to pick up transactions originated from backdated operations and when a full export has already been made for the same period.

During the generation of the file, the system will ask you for the layout which will define the file type and its columns order. Please, make sure that you have previously defined the layout on 
System administration >> Infrastructure >> Layouts.   

When a search is made, the contents of the grid are reduced to reflect the number of records that matched the search field. However, when the CSV file is generated, the system considers the original content of the result, which is based on the period and not on the filter applied by the search.

For example, let’s suppose your original result for a certain period brings you 100 records. Then you perform a search on the result grid which reduces the number of records shown to 3 records. If, at this moment, you generate the CSV file, this will contain the original 100 records and not the 3 records produced by the search filter.

This function generates an export file which contains information from the financial transactions produced for the specified period.  All financial events will be considered. 

If you need to generate a more specific export file, containing only selected financial events, you can do this from the Financial Enquiry function, which provides a rich set of filters allowing you to select only the relevant records.
