Settings
The following settings are available in the Access Control module.
They have been already set up for you but you can change them to better adjust the system to your needs.
Password life span
Represents the number of days a password is valid since its definition. You can enter values from 1 to 99999. When a password expires, the user is requested by the system to define a new password.
Number of days before a password can be reused
Represents the number of days between the latest expiration of a password until it can be reused. For increased security, Aerolog Cloud does not allow the same password to be defined for a period immediately subsequent to its expiration.
Maximum number of login attempts
Represents the maximum number of consecutive failed login attempts before the logon-id is blocked. After a login-id is blocked, the user is required to change the password via his/her registered e-mail.
Life span of the Link for password recovery (in minutes)
When the user requests a password recovery (password forgotten or define password), a link is sent to the user’s e-mail. This link expires after a specified number of minutes, which is indicated in this field.
URL password definition
This is a read only field. It displays the URL used by the link for defining a password. This information is updated by Datamodus, only
