Archive accounts

Accounts that are longer used can be archived.

The archival of the account means that the account will no longer appear on the reports and cannot receive any financial transaction, flight log records or any other type of movement.

An account can only be archive when its balance is zero. When an account is archived, its code can remain the same or can be changed. This is defined in the Finance Configuration (Finances >> Infrastructure >> Configuration >> Apply standard format for archived account code) .
